Who is this program for?
A Writer’s Guide Mentorship Program is suitable for all levels of writers who wish to develop their skills in the craft and business of writing.
The program is specifically designed to fit your individual needs to improve and hone your writing and critiquing/editing skills.
It is suitable for writers working in any genre: fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, memoir etc.
What is a writing mentor?
A writing mentor guides you through the process of writing and brings you to the next level in your writing.
The mentor, an experienced writer, editor, and instructor assesses your individual needs and creates alongside you a tailor-made program with specific outcomes and goals
He works with you in a dedicated way developing your writing and critical skills so that you can continue to improve as a writer after the program has ended.
How does the program work?
The writer meets with the mentor for an agreed upon period of time (typically six months - although longer or shorter programs are available). Meetings are held every two weeks and last for up to 2 hours. They can take place face-to-face or via email, telephone or Skype depending on where the writer lives The mentor further shares with the writer his expertise in the areas of markets, publishing, grants, and employment opportunities.
